Institutional relations
  • SPECIAL STATUS OF ELSA

    ELSA has a consultative status with several intergovernmental organisations, is a member of various international associations and cooperates with many different legal entities.

  • UNITED NATIONS, WIPO, COUNCIL OF EUROPE & MANY OTHERS

    In 1994 ELSA was granted Consultative Status in Category C in UNESCO, in 1997 ELSA obtained Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and in 2000 ELSA was granted Participatory Status with the Council of Europe. These relations provide a platform for law students’ participation in international decision making.

  • HUNDREDS OF DELEGATES EACH YEAR

    Calls for Delegations are announced every two or three months. Each Call comprises approximately 15 different sessions. ELSA usually sends five delegates to each session. Therefore, ELSA sends over 300 delegates to various sessions all over the world each year.
